Shadow Painter is an investigation into the painterly qualities of Digital Photography. Each image shot strains the ability of the receptive materials and digital encoders to parse the light information. The grain of the RAW images was further advanced through digital enhancements that typically work at a level imperceptible level to enhance our readings of these images. At this level of digital magnification, we can see the blurry contours, granular texture, and embossed shapes.
